Celebrating Birthdays is a big deal in our family! Such a big deal that most of the time our kiddos end up having multiple celebrations. Take Ryne's birthday for example.
First we celebrated with C.G. and Monk Monk while they were here for Christmas.....
(Ryne's bday was Dec. 30th, remember I'm behind on my posts, so Christmas wasn't really that early to be celebrating.)
Angry Birds Party....
Then it was Ryne's actual birthday....
He got to wear his Birthday Boy shirt.
And have a Skype party with our family in Oklahoma...
Granna, Paw, Aunt Kim, Uncle B, Brandon and Taylor joined us for this gift opening party.
Then Daddy took Ryne out to Red Robin for his Birthday lunch, just the two of them....
And then came the "big" party...the one he invited his friends to.
Curious George was the theme he picked....
It was a fun party to decorate for. And my favorite was that Kyle made a CD of lots of "monkey" music to play during the party. Then each child had a copy of the CD in their goody bag to take home with them. We still listen to ours from time to time. Fun stuff.
Then it was party time....
The Play-doh table
with some coloring table action too.
Check out Avery's creation....
And we played some games...
Hot Banana
Ainsley and Arin were cheering them on.
pin the butterfly on the log
There was also "Monkey, Monkey, where's your treat? Somebody stole it from your seat." But Ryne kept thinking it was his job to tell the "monkey" who stole the treat. Game spoiler. So we skipped the planned "monkey see, monkey do" game and moved right on to the cake....
Yummy!
Even the grown-ups enjoyed it....
And Tesa sported a party hat for Ryne...
And we were crazy enough to try and get a family photo...
We don't all fit on the loveseat so well.
Forget pictures.....lets get to the presents....
It was a fun party with lots of great friends.
Ryne turned 3 in style!
And believe it or not his partying wasn't over. Granna and Paw were headed our way and he would get to share yet another party with Kade. I'll save that one to include in Kade's party animal post!
